Below is a recap of information from the coaches meeting on July 29th.
Batesville Athletic Boosters:
Whenever possible, it would be preferred to have parents in attendance to any/all booster meetings. Meetings are held every third Wednesday at 6:30pm and will be at the BHS Bulldog Room.
Helvie mentioned, “our parents have great ideas, but they aren’t attending these meetings to help us or provide ideas.”

Raffle and Dinner:
The annual chicken dinner and booster raffle will happen on Sept 15. Parents, please plan to attend and support the athletic department. I intend to put together a raffle basket (or two) as well, so be ready to check that one out!
500 Club:
The 500 club is also a way to give back to the Athletic Club and generates a large chunk of funding for the overall athletic department. If you aren’t 500 Club members, I highly encourage you to register.
Home-Event Ticketing Information:
Home events will now offer Credit Card purchases at the gate, cash at concessions. You can also purchase an All-Sports Pass or tickets in advance.
Family passes are now available for a price of $180 and can include 5 family members
Corporate Sponsorships:
If you know of anyone or a business interested in being a corporate sponsor, please have them contact Mr. Helvie at the high school. Note: Sponsorship dollars can be donated to an individual sport or the entire athletic department.
Weight Lifting Test Dates:
August 4 and 7 are the final summer testing dates. There will be a cookout following testing at 12:30pm on Saturday August 7 to celebrate our athlete’s gains and lifting success.
COVID Protocols:
As of July 29, 2021, COVID protocols have largely been lifted. At this time we could plan for reintegrating our sandwich orders, however, with the Delta variant and constantly changing landscape this could change at any point in time.
August 14, 2021 will be the next checkpoint for the Batesville School district with the necessary updates for fall sports. Winter sports will follow whatever protocols put into place on or after August 14.
